Are they simply insensitive to it, or do I have a problem with my build. Nothing seems to fix it, yet I’ve read several post where people say they don’t have any input lag, whatsoever. I’ve also messed around with latency, Locked CPU Speed, frameskip and Vsync settings. I’ve tried Vulkan, glcore and d3d11 (which crashes instantly, despite GTX 970 supporting it). On Castlevania, specifically, I used the method outlined in a Libretro post (which I can’t seem to find) where you hit “P” to pause emulation, hold the jump button and press “K” repeatedly until your character jumps. I tried Star Wars Battlefront Elite Squadron and Castlevania - The Dracula X Chronicles, and the input lag made both games unplayable.

They work better and have better mali drivers than 3.4.Today I enabled this core, and I’ve been experiencing the exact same thing. I also suggest using legacyrom or stock 3.4.2 firmware. But it's not the case in the xd fortunately.įor snes use retroarch.

The rk3288 is a very good midend soc, but some tablet manufacturers use 1080p or even to more resolutions to it which penalize performance. Developer options are included by defsult. Emus are most of them CPU dependant Esther than GPU, except uoyabause that use GPU a lot, and needs old mali drivers in the xd tomrun properly. Anyhow, kernel is available in my github in case someone needs it.

Gameblabla, the GPU cannot be forced to max unless dvfs is disabled, which is not recommended. In fact i recommend retroarch for most emus, for ppsspp use standalone App, latest nightlies. The xd is quite fast, even retroarch playa most snes games with bsnes core, which is very demanding. Running legacyrom at 1,8 GHz also helps with some games. I run tekken 6 fullspeed for example, and mostbgames run fullspeed. Im trying to play Ghosts n Goblins but its pretty much unplayable. Use performamce governor for some games, activate multithread, disable simulate block transfers and use some speed hacks for some games. Standalone PPSSPP seems to have just as bad input lag. Let me know if this improves the speed on your device. Premium is available for only 30 LaunchBox Premium PPSSPP 1 RetroArch is a.

Then go to "Entropy" and set both Read and Write to 4096. It should help, especially if you have a high class SD-card. Go to I/O Scheduler and set "Read-Ahead" to 4096Kb. If you can change the clock, do it and set it to the maximum. Go to CPU and set the "CPU Governor" to "Performence". If you use Kernel Aduitor and your tablet is rooted then great, follow my instructions ! If it is not rooted then i highly suggest you do so, because you will be able to use apps like Kernel Aduitor and change your CPU settings. Try to set it to Non-Buffered video and enable all the speedhacks. You may want to play around the settings and i'm not only talking about the resolution. I had a tablet with the same specs and it's not a very powerful chip nowadays. Your device is a GamePad Digital GPD XD 16 GB right ?
